Oamaru Blue


This extra special blue is soft and buttery, the rind is corrugated and rustic, inside is an inviting soft core with both homogenous blue veins of Italian and our own 45 South mould (penicillium roqueforti including our 'hay bale' mould strain). 

Bring to room temperature and you'll be rewarded with a creamy, velvety texture and savoury moreish flavours. This specialty blue is taken to the next level when melted in cooking.
