Wine Match

Here are our recommendations to try with our cheeses, there are no set rules when it comes to wine matching so experiment with different tastes. Be creative, this is where the fun begins by trying new combinations, so some tried and relatively well tested and enjoyed combinations are;

• Champagne - Mt Domet Double Cream, Lindis Pass
• Riesling/Sav Blanc - Brie, Probiotic Brie, Fushia Creek Feta
• Chardonnay - soft cheese like Camembert, Waitaki Camembert, Mt Domett Double Cream Brie
• Cab Merlot/ Cab Sav/Shiraz  - Aged Airedale, Mt Kyeburn Smoked Cheddar, Totara Tasty Cheddar, Moeraki Bay Blue, Monte Cristo
• Pinot Noir/Late Harvest Dessert - Farmhouse, Windsor Blue, Vintage Windsor Blue
• Merlot - Windsor Blue, Vintage Windsor Blue, Livingstone Gold
