Savoury and punchy, Mt Kyeburn is an aged cheddar smoked with natural maple smoke, providing a strong distinctive smokey flavour.
Add a unique flavor dimension to your cheese board with the addition of our Mt Kyeburn smoked cheddar.
It is created using our Totara Tasty aged cheddar. The cheddar is aged for 18 to 24 months, we then smoke it using a natural maple smoke to give it it’s strong, distinctive smokey flavor. It is then waxed which gives the cheese character and helps to keep the distinctive flavor profile.
Like the rest of our Whitestone’s cheeses it is named after a regional place name in North Otago; Mt Kyeburn is situated in the Kakanui Range which majestically runs to the west of Oamaru. It overlooks the Manitoto to the west and North Otago to the east

Serve at room temperature on your cheese board. Gives salads a boost, try as a pizza topping or a different flavour sensation in your cheese toastie.
