Developed from the historic 774 AD "Brie de Meaux" recipe, Lindis Pass is Whitestone's latest brie creation. Designed to satisfy the most discerning cheese lover, this brie style requires full ripening to realise its potential, releasing its complex earthy mushroom flavours.
Named after the mountain pass which is the start point of North Otago's Waitaki river catchment, this fits with a cheese recipe that dates back to the creation of fine cheese.
Made in a traditional large 1.8kg maxi round, Lindis Pass is only available from specialist cheese delis or factory direct. Please note that weights are approximate, actual weights may vary.

Best when it is really soft.. great taste
It needed a few days to ripen up but then it's as good as Brie de Meaux... and a sight cheaper!
A beautiful cheese & exceptional service. Just remember it is a soft cheese & needs to be packaged accordingly.
Lindis Brie, Campbells ham, Christmas nibbles for 50 pax - so easy and totally local!!
A superb cheese - quite the best of Whitestone's Brie style cheese options.
I 'warmed' the cheese - left it out (still wrapped) for two days (three nights) and it "flowed" beautifully on opening in true Brie manner.
The flavours were at once, delicate and yet intense.
