Complex, nutty, fruity. A sheep’s milk cheddar, Monte Cristo is pressed and matured for approximately six months, to produce a subtle nutty flavour that becomes stronger and more complex as it ages.

Please note that weights are approximate, actual weights may vary.

Awards: Champion of Champions 2025, Best in Class - Sheep Milk 2025, Best Original Cheese 2025, Champion Sheep Cheese Award 2015, 3 Gold Medals, 9 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.

Fantastic cheese.

I really loved your Monte Cristo sheep milk cheese. A beautiful full flavoured cheese. One of the best sheep cheeses I have had. So many others are either too strong or too salty. Your recipe is excellent. I look forward to ordering more.

Monte Cristo Cheese

I saw that this cheese took out the top prize in the recent awards so jumped online and bought 4 wedges.
On receiving the order I immediately opened one to see what all the fuss was about and it didn’t hit me at first bite but as the cheese softened in my mouth the flavour release was just magnificent…. All nutty and creamy with that slight hint of Pecorino and just a smooth finish. It is quite rich and needs to be savoured but absolutely delicious all on its own doesn’t need any added pastes or chutney just enjoy the cheese for what it is.
